Jeopardy

Available at: http://www.superteachertools.com/jeopardy/
Jeopardy can be used to review material during an instructional unit or before quizzes or exams? You also use its format as an assessment technique? Using this game format allows teachers to assess knowledge without the need for formal tests or to reinforce critical information while avoiding rote practice.

Top Tip 1
If you have a student that has missed an obligatory seminar, then instead of an extra task (that you have to mark), get this student to make a Jeopardy game for the contents of what was covered in the seminar. Then use this game for exam revision or for future courses
Top Tip 2
Group your students into 5 groups. Instruct each group to make 10 questions (+ answers) on a certain section of the course text book(s). These questions must be listed 1-10 in terms of difficulty. Each group hands you there questions. You then select 5 questions from each group task and then copy n paste them into the Jeopardy template. Then play it in class!
Below, you can view a game of Jeopary being played by my trainee teachers online over Skype
